A mate of mine showed me some videos on youtube of some FC United fans chanting during games and they have some really good and original songs and belt them out throughout the game!!

I thought, while drunk last night getting over excited for the d*rby match, of some new lyrics to this song that relate to forest, see what you think?!

I went to the Nag's Head and Plough in Stabbo the moring of the away game and a few of the old boys were singing it in full in there. Sounded awesome and really made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end!

As for all the other suggestion I love them all and suggest we sing them loadly in every pub we go in (especially once we're out the other side of Moff Eaton ) and all the way through the game

When you get alot singing it, it really is the best chant there is. Like you say the feeling you get, goosebumps, tingling with excitment you just can't buy feelings like that. I am feeling sick for tomorrow already and looking at chants that I grew up with are just adding to it.....

I'm liking the sound of this too! On another note... but keeping with the same song... does anyone know why only the chorus of 'City Ground' is ever sung nowadays? I was originally just going to post the corus and the 'Far we hve travelled' verse but when I saw that second verse I had to post it too!

I'm liking the sound of this too! On another note... but keeping with the same song... does anyone know why only the chorus of 'City Ground' is ever sung nowadays? Have been to 3 FC United games whilst at uni with a Man-U fan, The atmosphere is incredible, for a support of around 2,000! the songs are original, Funny, Biting and incredibly intimidating at times. I hate to envy any club, Particularly one out of the football league, but if we could have just that number of fans willing to create and sing in the same way they do, with it catching on to the silent blocks, we could have one hell of a fortress at the city ground.
