If we are still in the hunt for a new centre half come Jan what do people think of going for Madjid bougherra at Rangers? Rangers are in big financial trouble so are under pressure to sell and the guy himself is a very good player?

To be fair, he's looked good in Europe and has done very well in England with Sheff Wed and Charlton.

We could do a lot worse than Bristol City's McCombe. He's tall & no slouch.

Whether City would allow him to come to us though...

I don't disagree - but we need strength in depth to cover injuries & suspensions.

Agreed. Wes is a rock as always and I think Wilson is a confidence player who will only get better with every start. If we bring another center back in I think they'll be purely as backup unless either Morgan/Wilson are crocked

Madjid bougherra would be too good for us , if he's likely to go anywhere , a lower premiership club is likely his destination.
