Neil Moxley - David Pleat - Billy Davies

Wow. That seems to be an entire article based upon the conjecture as fact principle. Poor journalism.

The only bit in there that irked me was when he talked about Billy mucking him about with interview questions. Just seemed like a chance for the journo to have a little personal pop. Other than that, he acknowledges BD is good at his job.

Clough wasn't exactly nice to the journos, and he did all right!

If I wrote that as a opinion feature for uni and handed it in, I would be bollocked for not being able to substantiate my 'facts'.

So true. I did journalism at uni too and they kept banging on about that. So how come these 'professionals' seem to get away with putting across their own opinion in such a way?

'They' being my tutors, obviously.

Having re-read that article it is clear that the journalist does just want to have a pop at BD, and I think he's taken some quotes and comments out of context to try and make his point. Which he didn't really do.
