A massive game on saturday and Derby think they can just turn up and win the game by 3 or 4 goals - we are yet in the League to lose at home under BD and I feel as fans we really need to get behind the team on Saturday creating an electric atmosphere and cheering the team on to victory - reading this and other forums its as if we are already beaten - a win on saturday could be the key to staying in this league

Who is with me lets paint the city ground red and make it loud!!!!!!!!

Totally agree, however we hear this at least twice a season and it never happens..

In the cup game at 2-0 up (and cruising before... you know what...) some people around me looked at me and others like we had 5 heads or something because we were getting behind the team.

Nothing ever changes

Garibaldi ......... what on earth are you on about? If our lads have that idea on Saturday, then we will lose by 3 or 4. The sheep are not that good - remember that we created a host of chances against them and we had some key injuries. Sure, we lost to them and lost at Brum and Ipswich - some good parts to both those displays. We don't know what BD is saying in the dressing room, but I'll bet it is not as negative as the impression we get from the press. It wouldn't be in his interests to talk down the side and make them lose confidence. Let's get behind them!

I'm just being a realist. Derby are finding good form with a certain Commons pulling all the strings, as we've looked somewhat hopeless in recent matches with no full backs (of real championship quality) no real goal threat (minus Tyson's pace) and generally looking lightweight in the middle. Commons tore us apart in the cup match and i fear that will happen once again.

I've followed forest home and away for 14 years so I'm as much of a fan as anybody on here and desperately want to see us compete and do well. I've got behind forest time after time and will continue to do so, it just gets that little bit harder year on year after watching pretty average football. Let's face it, promotion was a bit of a non-event and this season hasn't exactly being inspiring has it?

I know its the old arguement about youth, "decent effort from the limited resources we have", "lets just survive by the skin of our teeth this year", blah blah but that doesn't cut it with me anymore. I don't mean to sound like a negative supporter and i honestly want this club of ours to succed but i've seen/heard all the rubbish the board and managment spout before. I just feel we have once again failed to prepare for the task in hand and those sheep lovers down the road will be relishing a trip trentside.

Too bad the only defeat at the CG under Davies was at the hands of Derby!!!

I think we can win anyway. I think Derby are an average side at best and nothing has shown me any different. I don't get how beating Plymouth, Blackpool and us makes them a top side. They just beat the sides around them like we did a few games ago with wins against Plymouth, Charlton and Norwich.

i think you'll find that if you look into what you said, the only people who think we will turn up and win the game by 3 or 4 goals are Forest fans.

I do happen to have done my research and a quick glance at any Derby forum will tell you that many Derby fans think that its case of how many they will score - simple fact anyone can beat anyone in the Championship I fully expect we will beat Derby as they are fellow strugglers whatever there fans say games in hand mean nothing at all until you win and Derby have beaten teams around them like Forest did (yes they beat Coventry how are very hard to predict)however its Forest so it will only be by the one goal and we will most likely score on the 3rd minute then have 87 mins plus stoppage time of nervous defending - we never do things the easy way

Gary

No wonder my post count..
With the home fans behind a derby as large as this one, I'd be very critical of any team who doesn't perform well. It's gonna be nuts.

I agree mate, it seems that when us (Forest) beat teams around us it's ok. But as soon as D*rby beat the teams around them they are the best team ever according to the media

I hope we beat them but there is no denying D*rby have found good form, it's going to be difficult but I feel if we get behind the lads and silence the flock of sheep we can pull it off.
