Forest are Magic
Wales holding on for the moment a few minutes to play ...
Neco is the Japanese word for cat too, just in case you needed another reason! This forum could use some kitten photos TBF.
Neco isn't a bad name either. Or Forest.![]()
1873, Charles "Charlie" Charles, against the Corinthians, I think?Give the Wales set piece coach a bell. Last time we scored direct from a free kick?
Lucky to get a set piece on target, never mind a goalRemember the days of getting the season review videos as a kid and Stuart Pearce would routinely bang in four or five free kicks per season and Nigel Clough would weigh in with two or three aswell....
Christ we're lucky to get one free kick goal every few years these days. Get Neco on free kick duty!
There is a reporter on BBC who's name is Harry Farley and I just can't get out of my head the spoof mystery play the Two Ronnies did which has an inspector in it called Charlie Farley, every time I see him. Such things are conjured up when I see such a post as this on here.1873, Charles "Charlie" Charles, against the Corinthians, I think?
Ah yes, alongside Piggy Malone, as I recall…There is a reporter on BBC who's name is Harry Farley and I just can't get out of my head the spoof mystery play the Two Ronnies did which has an inspector in it called Charlie Farley, every time I see him. Not forgetting Johnny Metgod. Remember his thunderbolt that almost burst the net against West Ham around about '85?Remember the days of getting the season review videos as a kid and Stuart Pearce would routinely bang in four or five free kicks per season and Nigel Clough would weigh in with two or three aswell....

As already mentioned MGW v Bournemouth final day of last season. Ball was set rolling for him, so technically for the stats it may not go down as direct I suppose. But it should do. Same as many of Pearce's goals from free kicks.Give the Wales set piece coach a bell. Last time we scored direct from a free kick?
Not forgetting Woany too. What a player.Remember the days of getting the season review videos as a kid and Stuart Pearce would routinely bang in four or five free kicks per season and Nigel Clough would weigh in with two or three aswell....

When we had Nigel Clough and Lee Chapman I think one was right footer and one was left foot so they would both stand over a free kick to make it more difficult to establish a wall or for the keeper to position for the kick. Not forgetting Johnny Metgod. Do you mean Clough and Pearce? Nigel once scored a free kick where Pearce had run over the ball at Upton Park. When we had Nigel Clough and Lee Chapman I think one was right footer and one was left foot so they would both stand over a free kick to make it more difficult to establish a wall or for the keeper to position for the kick.
I thought about this because I'm sure I saw one of them score from a free kick at West Ham.
Actually bud it’s is. But pronounced Ne Ko not neecoNeco is the Japanese word for cat too, just in case you needed another reason!
