I do have a sneaking suspicion someone is going to come in over the weekend with a £35m-£40m bid and that'll be that. I mean, considering he's just had a fantastic game there and they need a full-back, I wouldn't bet against some interest from Liverpool. United still want a full-back as well.
Personally, I wouldn't entertain a sale but it's all dependent on how likely is he to sign that contract. If he's willing to sign, great, don't sell. If he's looking to move on, I'm split because i think it does weaken us defensively massively to sell him and it's short notice to get someone else in.

I think if we were to get upwards of 50 he’d be off, if neco going led to aina shuffling to the left and us being able to bring in another midfielder I wouldn’t necessarily be against it
