Attracting a lot of interest to the surprise of no one. Definitely not someone I'd want us to be selling next season.
Having seen what we do with 30m, I'd rather keep Neco thanks. If we stay up then i'm sure he'll stay no matter what.
He'll still have 3 years left on his contract when the season finishes so even if the worst happens, i can't see him going for anything less than what EM thinks he's worth and i'd guess he'd value him at around the £30m mark absolute minimum.
What? You wouldn’t want the next Bakwa and minus £5m for Neco?Having seen what we do with 30m, I'd rather keep Neco thanks.
I did some fag packet estimations of our players on here a few weeks ago and had Neco down as £25M too although I'd gone on the conservative side. At a push we might get £30M for him.
Full backs don't tend to go for much more than that and the ones that do are more of a world class wing back.
I forgot about Kerkez although the overall average market cost is pretty low for full backs low in comparison to other positions. I agree that Williams is much better than Kerkez too.Kerkez went for £40m and Williams is the better player and home grown.
Liverpool could use a decent full back too so I wouldn't be surprised if they were interested for big money.
He was a brilliant signing for Forest when we returned to the Premier League.Brilliant today at both ends of the pitch. If we survive this season, it will be more down to him than anyone else. If we had another two players with his drive we would be nowhere near the relegation zone.
That is the best bit about being a PL club, you keep hold of good players and rack up so many appearances, so many of our squad have 100-150 apps now. Dominguez also played his 100th game today.Went past 150 appearances in the Garibaldi as well recently.. Even more deserved.
Not on today's car crash showing, howeverSangare is a very worthy runner up for player of the season
Its Necos birthday tomorrow as well, so, a double celebration.I was stunned to hear Colin Fray talking with Neco earlier and mention that this was the first time he's won a man of the match award.
Sangare is a very worthy runner up for player of the season but it's Neco's all day long.
That's because it was, and it was pure incompetence that it was flagged offside when the established protocol is to let the passage of play end before flagging (not something I agree with, btw, but that is the protocol)His disallowed goal looks well onside.
