I've never been more impressed with a player's improvement, even Yatesy tbh. I thought Neco would be a 'keep for a season then replace with someone better' kind of player. Thank God I'm not a football manager.
Early doors I was a bit worried because Bowen seemed to have his number. But he just grew into the game. The more tense it got the better and tougher he played.
Clear man of the match tonight. He has heart and drive in spades and is exactly the kind of character you want in a relegation battle.
He is probably the only player (maybe Anderson too) who can legitimately hold his head up high and say that he's left everything out on the pitch in every game, regardless of bullshit off the pitch with different managers.
As others have suggested, proper captain material. The way he takes the team by the scruff of the neck and leads by example right up to the final whistle is just great.
