• All - you probably don't need to be told, but....
Despite the Admins' best efforts some spammers/scammers/scalpers are getting through the entry system and are, astonishingly, in possession of FA Cup tickets that they, astonishingly, don't want!

It's probably a scam, and either way it's a criminal offence under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, (as amended by the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006) to offer or expose tickets for sale.

Please DO NOT engage with these people - please REPORT any threads/posts offering tickets for sale in case we've not caught them.
    Thanks!

I was watching Holland Spain tonight and Holland got screwed by the ref...

Why does Hato get red in the 81st minute and Huijzen gets only yellow for studs on the ankle in the 61st minute?

I can't understand the Nations League. Think it's a better idea than lots a pointless friendlies, but do they have to make it so complicated.

Play off games all mixed in with quarter finals for something culminating, I suppose in a trophy.

OK, so they have Leagues, so why not simple promotion and relegation? If they are worried about having blank international breaks, make the Leagues larger.

I don't think it's really overly complicated...

Degree of force. I agree with the referee. Huisjen's challenge was from a few shorts steps. Hato was already at speed and flung himself into the challenge.

That yellow Spanish kit is awful.

The new wonder boy of Greek football, Kostas Karetsas (winger / attacking midfielder, 25 appearances for Genk in Belgium -where he was born and raised- this season), only 17 years old, is currently playing for Greece against Scotland after making an impressive debut in the first game between the two teams. He's way out of our league financially (Bayern Munich are reportedly after him), but I wouldn't be surprised if EM is also interested (for Forest, I doubt he's interested in playing in the Greek league).

He looks very good. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on against proper international teams.
Certainly one to keep an eye on.

It’s pretty simple really : win your group of four, you get promoted, finish bottom you get relegated. Finish 2nd/3rd you get a playoff for promotion/relegation. Except in the in the top division where the top two in each group go into the quarterfinals of a knockout competition.

World Cup/Euros qualification is ridiculously complicated these days in comparison on the other hand.

People complain that qualification for England is a cakewalk these days, but then also complain about an actual competition where everyone is in theory paired with teams at a similar level. Of course Southgate managed to get England relegated so they ended up in the second division this time around. (Though they did get promoted again by beating Greece, Ireland and Finland and topping their group).

God how depressing must it be to be a Scotland fan - they were absolutely dire tonight
This weekend I've watched England U21 fall apart, England labor to a dreary victory and Scotland shoot themselves in the foot. I'm hoping MGW can get a gander tomorrow to inject a bit of life into preceedings, because it's all been utterly dour so far.

Wales did OK I suppose, albeit versus a Borat celebrity 11.

I am sure it's not the only cause, but interesting to see Serbia were clearly 2nd best in the 1st leg v Austria & back comes in Milenkovic & they are the better side & keep a clean sheet.

French ref in the Spain vs Holland game is not very consistent with the fouls he gives. It's like after the soft penalty he's decided to let a lot go...
In other words I still dont get how he gave the penalty...
