So i was just on the 'where are they now' bit of the Forest site having a look to see what Andre Silenzi was up to. As you do. The entry above Andre reads "Dave Serella - He in my opinion scored the best ever own goal and is now a Milkman in St Annes, Lancs"

Have you ever read a line with so much mystery attached to it?

WTF?

Has he written an autobiography? If not, why not?

Wanna see what Paul McGregor's up to now?

Do you think Ian Astbury is wearing a Forest kit somewhere in some bizarre identity switch like Tom Hanks in Big?

From thestoolpigeon.co.uk............
"The day before our meeting, Paul McGregor appeared in court on charges of common assault, arising from a gig at east London’s Old Blue Last where the plug was pulled and a fight broke out."

Naughty boy! And i thought he liked drawing.

will you go out with me?

Best ever own goal was by Brian Laws against Millwall near the end of the successful '89 season.

Ball is passed back from midfield and trapped by Laws on the corner of the Bridgford end penalty area.

An advancing Steve Sutton was keen to receive the ball back (before the backpass rule came in), and was between 6 yard box and penalty spot.

With the deftness that'd get commentators orgasming were it Arsenal, Laws calmly, beautifully and - above all - perfectly chipped Sutty.

Both parties watched in awe as the ball floated magnificently and dropped under the top corner of the bar/post, and nestled smugly in the net.

We won 4-1 so it didn't matterm but that goal was a thing of rare beauty, just at the wrong end!

Surely Lee Dixon has scored amongst the pick of the own goals in the modern era?

Although that dude in the lower leagues who kicked the ball into his own face which then ricocheted into the goal must be in with a shout lol Can't remember who/when but it was this season.
