I wouldn't quite say I wanted to bum him , but what an incredible transformation from the fellow we all (most) thought he would be.

We thought we knew Gary Megson. We were right.

We thought we knew Billy, how wrong we were. No long ball. No sneaky tactics. No freezing out Earnie and Camp. No falls outs. Best passing football since Hart, at the least. Was it just an unfair reputation, or has he learned a lot and embraced the 'Forest way'? Who cares.

He just worked with what he had at Derby (ie. shit). Much like O'Neill had to at Leicester.

Yeah he had to utilize the resources he had available at Derby, unfortunately that meant long ball and wouldnt cut it at the top level. Here he has some players that can actually play football, they just needed better guidance

I'd say some of the football we are playing is far better than Harts side. As well as the intricate passing that harty's side had - we have a large degree of outrageous flair too. Our 1st against Reading is a good example of this.

Our side is pretty similar to Harty's side. We had Andy Reid on the top of his game. I dont think that we have an Andy Reid type player now. Reids crossing was awsome and he could score from anywhere. On the other hand we didnt have a player as talented as Mejewski!

Sciemca wa similar to McKenna and this is te first time weve had that type of player since Scimeca. We also played the diamond, with Jonno, Marlon and Huckerby, that was frightening! I think our team now ha a much better work ethic and balence though. both played brilliant football, bu this team is harder to beat ;D

The thing I love about davies is he knows exactly what hes doing.

He doesnt come with the caveat that he is young and inexperienced, so needs time to learn the ropes- like calderwood and platt did. And I guess harty to some extent.

For the first time in yonks, it feels like we actually have a manager in charge who knows what he wants to do, and knows exactly how to achieve it.
