Getting harder to do these 11s with the players we have at the moment - but collymore (still the best I’ve seen live), Pearce with 2/3 from Lloyd, burns and des are pretty unanimous.

I always find it pointless comparing across such a length of time.
Even players from 2010 don’t look particularly good compared to today’s players.
Relative to the talent of the day then clearly others are better, but I don’t think I have seen a better player than Murillo in a Forest shirt in terms of pure talent & level

There are just so many great players we have been privileged to see wear the Garibaldi.
Perhaps I would have been better off naming a 25-man squad, or even better still not insulting any of our great players by leaving them out.
(And in your addendums, you haven't included Le Flem, Baxter, Cormack, McKinlay... the list goes on.
So how come Man Shitty have all the silverware, when we have had so many really great players?
Must be down to past ownership models.

Cue camera shift to Kenneth Burns, who was just removing his false teeth. And for anyone who's seen the "highlights" of the 1980 European Cup Final, Kenneth did indeed give Keegan a proper shoeing, which ended up in the England player retreating to left back to get out of the way.
Neutralising Keegan in that way - you could not get away with this in the modern game, kids! - was a major contributor to Forest beating the highly-fancied German side (and make no mistake, they were a bloody good team, and the pre-match favourites!)

I agree that you can't really compare technical or athletic levels, as things have changed so much in that regard.
But I do think it's fair to compare the spirit in which players play (or played) the game - that's the constant.

Robbo had more say in our trophy-winning exploits than anyone else, yet you don't even include him on your 'bench' nor, for that matter, Bomber. Truly bizarre.

I might have mentioned it at Christmas time, but my grand daughter bought me, amongst other things, a Forest calendar as a present, simply because it had Murillo in it and she thinks he's wonderful.
I might buy myself one next year. Just because I've not had a calendar in the kitchen before; I never know what the date is (I'm retired and every day is pretty much the same to me) but it's jolly useful for finding out when the milk is likely to turn sour.

Nah, they would have needed more than Murillo to beat us. If they started both the Murillos they might have had a chance, but I would still back Haaland to score
