I very nearly replied to say much the same. It says something that someone people thought we had signed as a forward won Footballer of the Year as a defender. Now if Murillo would care to stick around for a few years and remain as consistent I might consider again if he might shift Burns or Walker out of my first team of players I’ve seen in person…

You could always play Neco at right back and we got to have Nigel Clough in the team! So maybe MGW has to do a job out to the right instead of Carr?
Neco is not the same player at RB in my book. Clough Jr is a good shout though. It's a tough one.
I kind of agree when it comes to Neco on left vs. right, but I think it might be down to relations (with CHO and EA on the left) and that he is more used to playing there for us. If he is given the time he’ll probably be just as good on the right.
The guy who, were it not for injury, would have topped the lot was Einar Aas. Absolutely mustard.
I think I’ve said here before that we can have had few players that made such a good impression in what sadly turned out to be a very limited number of appearances. He just oozed class.
I agree Cloughie. Not only was he a merciless killer at the back and dominant in the air, he was also usually excellent in possession on terrible pitches and could ping a very accurate long dangerous ball forward. As a ex-striker Kenneth could definitely play a bit and Cloughie knew it. People sometimes forget that about him.
