"Joel Lynch could return to training next week." :(

"Davies said: "It is only really Julian Bennett who is a real long term problem – he could still be nine months." :( :( :(

Resident foodie!
Nine months for Jules is a bloody long time, and if that doesn't tell the club that we need to sign a good left back, I don't know what will. :(

One of the comments below the article:

So Moussi, who we thought might be back in April, will now probably be back in March. As SHOCKS go, it's not exactly electric...

Happy times! Within 3 weeks we'll have a full strength forest back. Shame Anderson won't have much say on an early Forest survival battle, though!

9 months for Benny? It took 2 years to teach him to play in the first place.

Whats the chances he wont be the same as before his injury, plays in the reserves the rest of ths season
and gets a quiet send-off in the summer never to be mentioned again?

Just a thought.

Haha optimistic as ever there. Just before he got injuered he wasn't as good as when he first came to play for us, hopefulyl a new manager and training regime will bring back his confidence and he will be shit hot :)

Well, if you're concerned that he won't physically recover from his injury then I suspect that risk is pretty low. It's not like he's a 'Michael Owen' style striker reliant on pace.

If you think that he will struggle to get a chance under Davies and will wander back to France then maybe that is a possibility. However, the fact that we only have a handful of experienced pro's in our squad & 80% stil need to bring ID to get served in 'Spoons probably weighs in his favour.

Fecks sake, lets salvage a little bit of optimism here, hey? If you're gonna take that view on the moose, then you might as well take that view with every other player we'll get in between now and next season!

Bottom line is he's practically the age of Bobby Robson compared to the rest of the team and we need him.
