Colours to the mast, I think this lad is ace. He’s an absolute tank, loves a tackle, good pass on him, but pacy, and is very vocal.

The more I read, the more I think this could be an exceptional signing for Forest.

I wonder if he could potentially play as a LWB if required too if he has pace?

I still think we’ll get Rodon too, for the middle. This lad on the left, Worrall on the right, Rodon in the middle. Cook and Mckenna as rotation/backup.

Not convinced, think it's one or the other. If we sign this chap then McKenna moves central to replace Cook. If we sign Rodon then Rodon direct replacement for Cook and McKenna stays LCB.

Looks pretty set to me that Cook will be the backup, and then maybe Panzo stays with the squad as 5th choice with Mbe Soh going out on loan?

We've all been assuming that Coops will be playing a back 3. It's possible he could switch to a 4, especially considering the step up in quality and it becomes increasingly likely if he can't land the full backs required.

Worrall is the weak link for me. Gets beaten far more frequently than the others.
The problem with Worrall is he likes the physical contact too much-this season its almost as if hes given opposition players 1/4 of a yard at times just so he can then slide in and clear out and whilst hes a very good timer of the slide tackle it worries me against better opposition.
I always remember Des (who was the best defender I have seen consistently) that you can't do anything once you've gone to ground and so he tried everything he could to stay on his feet...

Has he singed yet?

Yeah he looks a real unit, canny signing if it comes off.

I know McKenna was brilliant last year but his lack of pace worries me. He also still can’t get a competitive game for Scotland despite their lack of depth in the position, so maybe he’s not as highly rated in football circles as he is by fans?

Seems fairly straightforward to me: spend 10m on a left-sided centre-half- current left-sided centre-half most likely to lose his spot.

Harsh, but that’s football.
