morgan on a mission

just made myself watch the championship on sky+ and think morgan should get some kind of medal for the number of times he put commons on his arse :D :D :D every free kick they showed on the highlights was a result of commons being taken out by morgan, on a few occasions you could almost see that morgan was pissed off by him, and at times commons didnt look a happy bunny.

so yes we lost and theres very little to be happy about but heres to wes who probably left a fair few marks on the fat one to wake up to this morning.

I red an article about Commons and Morgan still doing their ink together... So I think they are friends.
Good thing that he doesn't let that interfere with his commitment to the game though...

Commons seems to want to play for Derby.

How many of our players looked like they wanted to play for us yesterday?

He tries his best I'll give him that. He's not capable of heading or kicking a ball in the correct fashion though which has been our downfall for ages. The time has come for players such as him, as much of a folk hero that he is, to be replaced with those who have greater football ability, otherwise they will take us down (again).

Funnily enough, Paul Smith. He looked chuffed to be on the pitch while warming up, was great.

I think he would be the last defender that we have that would be replaced. This is because he is our best defender. Thats not a good state to be in, but look to the others first.

His blocking ability is outstanding and he is much quicker along the ground than people give him credit for. Hes strong, commited and he has youth on his side. We need people/players like him right now.

Absolutely agree 100%

I think Wes has been head and shoulder above anyone else at the back this season; OK, so he ain't Rio Ferdinand, but he is certainly more than good enough for the Championship.

I though he, Cohen and Tyson were the only outfield players who showed anything like commitment yesterday.

Marshall.

I think Morgan is should replace Pearch as Captain and his Center Mid position! Pearch yesterday was shocking, he did nothing all game and he cost us the game yesterday really. If he'd of cleared the ball from danger instead of pushing Hulse to concede a penalty and if he'd of scored that open goal at the end of the game we would of had a 2-2 draw! 8)

Big Wes was the only 1 who looked like he wanted it yesterday!! Good to see him crash into commons afew times!! And as someone mentioned Perch does nothing for me! Never dominates the midfield and the armaband should go to Big Wes or Bennet when he comes back!!

That is not what I intended to post!

Wes has been head and shoulders above most of our players this season. In the cup replay against Direby he had Commons in his pocket for an hour, until he dropped deep to get the ball and run at us. I think Commons is scared of Wes

What about Anderson. Thought he made some cracking tackles and wasn't scared to put his foot in, even with a light cast on his arm!

Earnshaw, for someone who was far from fit, never stopped yesterday.

He tried to win every header and wasn't helped by the fact that our defence kept hoofing it to him when he was up against Albrechtson who is almost a foot taller than him!

Anderson, Tyson and Earnie, for me, are the only ones who can say they really put in any effort.

Morgan did better going forward than in defence and that is saying something.

Yes, he may have put Commons on his arse a few times, but when they have Savage, Davies and Commons who can whip free-kicks in like they can, it's a stupid thing to do.

Thought Morgan was lucky not to get booked tbh for consistant fouling.

Didn't know consistant fouling was a bookable offence?

Persistant fouling on the other hand.....
