Morgan Anthony Gibbs-White OF ENGLAND!!

I thought it was a Captains performance

He was trying desperately to drive the team forward. Time & time again he was the one trying to win us the game whilst others just stood there or just looked drained of confidence & self belief.

And as others have already mentioned, he protected his fellow player & the response from the crowd was positive when he took the next corner, because of MGW's actions.

I am scratching my head trying to understand why he gets so much stick from ( so called ) fans.
I for one will miss him next season.
One of the very best to wear the garibaldi red - & I’m comparing him with players in the last 60 years.
It's baffling - he's both the brains and the lungs of 21st century Premier League Nottingham Forest, almost from day one. I'll be gutted when he leaves.

Once it becomes public that a player was ready to leave, fans will naturally sour to them. It was quite clear the change in opinion towards him following last summer

Terrible decision making in front of goal last night. I can’t remember the last time I saw the defence just part and a player waltz into the box so freely as it did for Morgan last night. What’s going on in his mind to then pass to someone in a worse position (twice) is baffling..

I do hope MGW watched Anthony Gordon's display against Quarabag today. Four goals, including two unstoppable penalties. That's how to do it as a number 10.

Can’t fault the heart he’s shown, putting many others to shame.

Absolutely should have walked off with a couple of goals last night…
sums him up. love him and can’t fault the effort but to play with a ten with such inconsistent end product especially when teams sit back and he doesn’t have the ability to break teams down is a big issue at this level

Certainly one of the best post the Miracle men.
I can only think of Psycho & SVC on the same level

I think with him it's easy to remember the stuff he does that doesn't come off and forget the moments of genius. There is no doubt he can be brilliant but also can be as frustrating in equal measures.

To be fair Gordon was playing as a striker with Woltemade playing behind him in the 10 but i think its safe to say MGW isn't the finisher Gordon is because if he was, he wouldn't be still with us.

Keane,Walker and Webb?
I have (at last count) met 14 of the "miracle men" and I would add those three to that illustrious company as well.

I would also add Stan Collymore (who I have also met) and Bryan Roy (who I have also met) as well as Roy Keane (who I have also met, and he bought me a pint) and Desmond Sinclair Walker (who I have not yet met) to that short list.

Forest have had some absolutely f***ing mint players over the years, you know?

I'd add the Number Nine, too. He was pretty good.
I have not had the privilege of meeting him either, but the "Number Nine" is always in my all-time Forest XI.
