MGW will get his chance when he leaves Forest. Moving to Bayern would be a clever move for him.

For me any player who gets 1 England cap must feel like a million dollars. When the dust settles on his career if he has managed to eke out 10-20 caps even when not getting selected as first choice it is such a massive achievement. He could have got his 2 or 3 and thrown his toys out the pram. Or he may end up with double figures, may lead to more. You have to just knuckle down.
 
No player is ever going to shine who isn’t in the starting team for England. Once it gets to 60 minutes and England are a few goals up, none of the players who are bought on look like a team, they look like a group of individuals who are only interested in themselves, they don’t pass key passes because they don’t want their teammates to look good, you see it every time. The 7th goal came from a Bellingham pass (who knows he is a starter)

Well I’d argue being in the 0.0001% of the population to represent England at football is certainly something to tell the grand kids, regardless of how many minutes you played.
 
I was watching in a group tonight and at half time said it was just the time to give some of the players who don't feature the chance to show TT what they can do. 4-0 up and cruising. So what does Tommy do? Plays on for another 15 minutes and makes his usual changes, giving no one else other than his usual favourites any chance to show.
 
Catching up with Strictly Come Dancing from last week and some football content creator is on there.

I saw more minutes of MGW on there than Tuchel is currently giving him

Excellent post...I was thinking exactly the same watching the game yesterday....this lot are not a team once subs are made...!!!!

I remember Ben Foster saying when he was on England duty he told Capello his wife was just about to give birth and Capello's response was "well we've got training in an hour". Capello eventually let him go but a few hours after the birth Capello called him and told him he wanted to return and he would play him in the second half of the upcoming friendly. Capello never played him at all, never explained why and never apologised.

Total w**ker, and although I don't think Tuchel is quite at that level, it's a dickheads move and some of the things that happen with these managers.

I fully agree with this. I once beat a silver Olympic and gold commonwealth games medalist at his own sport (badminton).

I don’t need to go into the details……
