I can't see anyone else coming in at the moment - the only reason we picked up Shorey at this particular moment in time was (like the Irishman said) to be sure - to be sure.

I would intepret this, from past experience, that there is now utterly no chance at all of Forest signing Peter Whittingham.

I think what Dan is saying is that someone on Vital has mentioned Whittingham, which means Dan has now posted it on footballrumours under the username 'dan the man', and is now mentioning it on here.

I think what Dan is trying to say is that Cardiff might need some money at some point in the future to be determined, and in order to raise this money, might consider, were there no possibility of raising cash from TV revenue, ticket sales, sponsorship or hospitality, that selling a player would be a way of obtaining the cash. This player might then be Whittingham, or one of the other members of the playing staff, and they might consider selling this player to one of the other 90 league clubs which are not Forest.

Actually, I am saying that Cardiff are in court over a tax bill and will be dumped on with some substantial legal costs for delaying this payment. There is no money in the kitty, and Dave Jones has been told by Peter 'the club f***er up-er' Ridsdale that he may have to sell a couple of stars to pay off debts.
A Malaysian businessman is currently looking to buy the club, and the due dilligence is under way, however from what i've read money will need to be available! The facts are in the public domain.
As I said, expect us to renew our interest for Peter Whittingham...
