Burnley have signed Brian Easton for a fee of £300,000 which could rise to £700,000 after having medical on Tuesday. Owen Coyle will also hope to bring in young Man Utd right back Richard Eckersly, after the 20 year old rejected a new contract at Man Utd. It is also reported that he will hope to bring in young Danish Goal Keeper Frederik Vang Larsen from FC Copenhagen for a fee of around £200,000, although it is thought that this will not happen until the clarets return from USA. Coyle will be hoping to have him in time for the USA tour on Thursday. Coyle will also look to bring in a Left Winger, a centre midfielder, a centre back and a striker before the season starts. Leaving will be: Stephen Jordan to Notts Forrest for £1 Million, Adam Kay to Accrington on loan, Wes Fletcher Hamilton on loan and Alex Ray–Harvey on loan to Morecambe.

Notts Forrest???

I can forgive the "Notts" but being unable to spell "Forest" really is poor. :nowink:

Just realised he's they guy who wasted most of his career trying to get in Man City team. Not that great and wouldn't pay even near to £1m especially with only one year left on his contract.

Why would the fee rise after the medical?

as a junior red we went to see some play in the jubilee club one evening and we got to meet Neil web, Johnny Metgod and some ginger fellow. Upon entry we were all handed a goody bag containing a number of items including a forest mug. This mug bore the legend FORREST.

Wish I'd kept it now. A solid example of the club fobbing us fans off with rubbish.

Reminds me of the true story of the bloke who had a tattoo on his arm stating "SUPPER REDS". I think he was from Hucknall as that's where I heard the story. Seriously.

I've mentioned this before on here, but I pointed out when I was younger that a guy had a "Pyscho" on his arm and not "Psycho"...

He wasn't too pleased!
