Forest are set to complete the signing of Shaun Barker for £500,000. Both Derby and Forest had offers accepted, but Barker chose to move to Forest instead. The loan signing of Chris Gunter is complete, although Spurs may choose to delay the announcement until August.

There was one on there about Forest being in for a couple of MLS players too. Robbie Rogers and Stuart Holden, both of which would be eligible for work permits. Holden was born in Scotland and Rogers has played in the Netherlands before, so might have a Euro passport. Robbie Rogers is an exciting player, I've seen him play with Columbus Crew a few times (alongside Gino Padula...oh dear).
