What a Guy! ::)

I think it's impossible to stalk the Moose. The Moose stalks everyone.......and today is no exception. ;D

Yeah, he had a poor game, was surprised he made it on for the second half.

I think, bearing in mind how little football he has been able to play recently, he did OK. Well, compared to Perch anyway. He offers composure on the ball, which is something most of our players completely lack.

Thats harsh. To say hes been out for so long he did fine. He rarely gave the ball away like a lot of the others. Fair enough he didn't do an awful lot with it but he was no worse than Perch.

S'all about opinions, I wasn't impressed and thought he was wasteful with the ball. Not just down to him, his teammates rarely offered a viable outlet for any of our midfield!

Perch was far better when Moussi went off! :D He swept up lose balls, made tackles and also made two good forward runs (one going totally unnoticed by Cohen, who played it backwards).

The whole team was poor on the ball in the first half, then good in the second half... it was a bit like the opposite of the LTLF team!

Yeah, I take your point. But Moussi always gave an option today and always wanted the ball. The same can't be said for a lot of our players at times.

Granted though, it was no where near his best game.

Being no worse than Perch isn't something to be proud of.

Granted, The Moose is not match fit, but he did have a poor game. He made just two forward passes all game, which meant we weren't able to penetrate Brizzol's defence quickly enough. This had nothing to do with his fitness, just a lack of vision.

Don't really get why people on here are so over excited about him. Debut & away @ Reading aside, I'm not convinced yet that he's consistent enough to be the midfield rock we no doubt need.

i think there was a positive effect on the team when he left the field and Mccleary came on, the attacking outlet was much needed. given a few more games and the once billed "poor mans Patrick Viera" will come good i have no doubt, but we need to play fit players

I think that Moussi has a far better positional sense than Perch. Perch to me seems to be like a headless chicken in that position, and as a result we tend to find people running directly at our centre backs. Moussi holds a position.
But personally I would like to see Cohen and Osbourne as the centre two, dont think this will ever happen though.

He was w**k today... Luckily Turner's s**tness took a lot of the focus off him.

Well , he was playing alongside Perch. Perch does seemed to have this ability to drag anyone he plays alongside with to his mediocre level standard. He plays in central defence , we conceed 5 goals , he plays in midfield , we generally gets overrun in midfield and anyone who plays with perch generally looks bad.

Moose may be still unfit but having perch alongside him is certainly not ideal at all.

Great suggestion of a song for Moussi in the comments.

To the tune of Dontch by pussycat dolls:

"Dontch wish your midfield had a Guy Moussi?"

That would work!

No, I think a few of us suspect it lol

Although right now he's not match fit so deserves the chance to get fit properly.

Very true never really had alot of chance since he got here due to injuries, just seems a bit of a liability to be playing at the moment. Stick him in the ressies for a few more games.
