Middlesbrough away on Boxing day tickets....

If you're a season ticket holder, I should imagine you'll be able to get one. I got one easily last season and I'm not an away member.

This is what bothers me about going to an away game. I don't have a season ticket, not a member or owt, I'm atthe bottom of the pile. Basically I've got better chance at the less popular away games. Selhurst Park anyone? lol

Boro' will give us as many tickets as we want - I reckon that they'll start off with 2500. I can't see many people wanting to go to Middlesborough on Boxing Day. It's a long way and ther sweet FA to do around the ground.

Went to this fixture last year, good day out and if they had given us double the amount of tickets the ground would still be half empty.

I might go, went last season and saw vans outside selling parmos in cobs :D I had a dodgy stomach at the time so had a beef cob from a different van instead.

I quite like Boro.

I like Boro too - both the town and the club - but Boxing Day? Are you madder than Frank McMad of Madchester? :D

Not really, generally bored of Christmas by, um, October. So by Boxing day I'm thoroughly fed up of it.

Fair enough. Would've been nicer to have either a closer away game or a home game on Boxing Day though. Had it been a different time of the year I might've considered it too.

The fixtures are supposed to favour more local games over the Christmas holiday period, to make travelling easier. Second year in a row we've been away as well.

I'm not possibly sure where we could go away that's worse than Boro on Boxing Day (except maybe Plymouth or one of the Welsh clubs).

ah yes i remember now. Tickets sold out for that a week before the game so i guess the turnout at Boro will be pretty good as well

Did we drive to Watford? We did didn't we.. We had silly hats..

Well i drove, you guys just sat there watching the world go by. I remember stupid hats and a post match trip to Greggs (Greggs in Watford was the highlight of the trip)

i enjoyed going to boro last season. I had the nicest roast pork and stuffing cob outside the ground. Don't think ill be going this year unless i feel like going on my one bomb.
