I'm fairly certain Nigel and the Derby board have better things to worry about then finding ex-forest to employ just cos it annoys us.
Perhaps Metgod has a wealth of experience both here and in europe, and Nigel has a role in mind where just such experience is essential.

Seriously can we shelve the whole "they're only doing it to piss us off" attitude or "he's burning his bridges with us" lines that are coming our here. Nige is concentrating on using all his contacts to so a job for his employer - end of story. If they happen to have once worn the garibaldi red then well who cares.
I couldn't give a tinker's cuss about what Direby are up to, what I care about is what we're doing, who we're going to sign, what kids we've got coming through and the plans that our manager has for our future. Let Nige do what he wants, paying them any attention only serves to make the sheep feel good about themselves and I'm not going to spend anytime doing that.

For example, I don't think signing Earnshaw last year was intented to be a slap in the face of Derby's - he's essentially kept us up this season.

I don't suspect Clough has any kind of Forest baiting agenda but equally I'm sick of hearing about mooted or actual things like this, the Tyson 400k bollocks, etc.
In this specific case I'm sure he'll do a decent job whatever role he fits into there, he's a talent at coaching level, and that can only be good for Derby. And I don't want thing sthat are good for Derby to happen. If Metgod had never kicked a bal in anger for this club, it'd still be annoying news, just as it will be next time they sign a decent player, or get 5 million for Commons or whatever.
