heard about it a couple of days ago and it's been announced today.

Costs £20 per season with guaranteed discounts of that amount throughout the season and gives priority for tickets.

It's essentially aimed at people who don't have season tickets but attend quite a few matches - a good idea methinks.

This is a decent idea - especially for those who aren't already Season-Ticket holders.

Although I am a Season-Ticket holder, I've not always been (for work reasons) and this new scheme would be ideal - another good idea from the club; maybe they are getting themselves sorted out at long last!

I go to about 90% of home games. I always sit in Main Stand where it just doesn't seem worth getting a Season Ticket (ST works out at around £22 per match if I go to every single one- where as match tickets average around £25)

This scheme seems like a good idea, I'll definitely look into it

I've been hoping for this for ages.

Live in Hampshire so can only get to a limited amount of games but will happily spend £20 to make it easier to get tickets.

;D

I like this idea, I currently pick and choose based on my availability and child care, so this would be a real help.

Although its a good idea by the club as it raises extra cash, I actually don't think it will be of that much benefit!

For home games, the only time you might struggle for a ticket is Derby and Leicester. And if you're wanting it for the chance of an away ticket you'll eb lucky! Away membership get first priority, then season ticket holders and then NFFC members. Can't really see there being tickets left for the time it comes round to NFFC members!

On another note, I have a ST. How much will it cost me for away membership?

Just had a look and this seems like an excellent idea - especially as you'll be able to get tickets a week before they go on general sale :)

In the words of Theo Paphetitis - I'm in ;D

Will it raise extra cash for the club though?

If we spend £20 on NFFC Membership, and then receive at least £20 in terms of discounts - then where's the gain for the club?

I know what you mean about actually getting hold of tickets. I doubt it would make that much difference in terms of getting a ticket or not getting a ticket. But it will mean you get a better pick of seats for popular games.

(Also, away priority goes 1) Away Season Tickets 2) Away Members 3) Season Ticket holders before the new 4) NFFC Members and then 5) General Sale...)

For real glamorous cup ties away from home I think you're right about it not helping. But for league games I think it will help. There are a fairly small number of away season ticket holders and lots of season ticket holders don't attend away games, so it will really help.

Now i paid £30 for Away Membership, now Forest have announced NFFC Membership for £20, this also gives priority for tickets for Away matches, and also gives £20 in discounts throughout the season, why did i pay £30 for my membership?

Does this £20 guarentee away tickets, or will tickets be allocated as such?...
Away Season Ticket Holders,
Away Membership,
NFFC Membership,
Home Season Ticket Holders,
General Sale.

If the £20 memberships are allowed to get away tickets on the same day as the away members then i dont think its very fair on us that paid the £30.

Its ok Ray Von,, this new membership is stil behind both away members and season ticket holders in the priority for away tickets. It just gives non season ticket holders who attend more away games the chance to get priority over other non season ticket holders. Basically just gives them a few days advance selling before general sale :)

£20 discount over 23 games some discount that. Maybe if the players were not paid so muc then tickets would not cost alot anyway

I don't expect that you'd have to attend all 23 games to get the £20 discount!

Presumably you'd get maybe £4 off each of your first five tickets or somesuch. It doesn't appear to br clear on the website.

well looking at the ticket prices for Reading a membership holder will save £2 on a matchday ticket versus a non membership holder.

Can't you save that much by not buying on the day anyway?!

Eddie

i think there's a saving,, but still better off with the membership. The way i understand it anyone buying a general sale ticket will pay more for a matchday ticket than away members, season ticket holders and membership holders regardless of when they buy the ticket. There must be some sort of agreement between the clubs to reward the fans who go more regularly with a slight discount.

It's basically just another paid queue-jumping mechanism, really, isn't it? Much like away membership but a couple of rungs down.

(He says, having still bought away membership lol )
