Bolton boss Gary Megson has refused to rule out the sale of Danny Shittu, with Nottingham Forest said to be keen.
Shittu failed to establish himself in the first team last season, making just 12 appearances for the Wanderers.
With the summer arrival of Zat Knight, it looks increasingly likely that the Nigeria international will leave the Reebok, despite no offers currently on the table.
"There is quite a bit of interest in Danny and we'll see if it materialises into anything more concrete," Megson told The Bolton News.
"I'd not want to talk about individual clubs and certainly not Nottingham Forest who do their business correctly, but there hasn't been any firm offers just yet."
Nice one Gary - Thank You.
Very much in contrast to what John Ryan at Donny & Derek Shaw of PNE have been spouting about lately when they said, it was from our end that the media was getting its information.
