Anyone who pays any attention to league tables this side of Christmas is clearly a mug. Enjoy the victories by all accounts but as a lifelong Forest supporter who remembers the likes of Steve Hodge, I feel a certain sense of unease going thru some of the threads here. Have a look at the table there, theres more distance between us and 1st place than us and 15th place. BD knows the score here, lets the rest of us not be getting too far ahead of ourselves. We are lucky enough to be supporters of the greatest football club in the world. Lets give them everything we can but lets not make the same mistakes we've been making for the last 10 years or so. Play Offs this year would be just fine imo*




*Looking forward to returning to this thread in March when we're 10 points clear 8)

I see it like a horse race. If your gee gee was in the top three a third of the way round you would have reason to be quitely optimistic. You would know that you could fall away or the chasing pack could catch and pass you over the rest of the course. There is also a chance that your horses legs may get stronger and the two in front of you might just take a fall. Either way its better than being at the back from start to finish isnt it ??
