Just seen a 'forest world' article on the OS that mentions McGugan and the U21s. As a non subscriber, is anyone able to say what it says?

Is he in contention or is it just a bit of bollocks?

In these type of games the U21's do tend to go with a 'local' and given what Pearce said about Mc Gugan when he visited it could well be a goer.

He should be in contention, in my opinion. When on form he's fantastic.

It would certainly give him a boost, however that is tempered by the fact that he must keep his feet on the ground. I'am sure Pearce would not let him get carried away though. It would certainly boost the attendance too!

McGugan's the sort of player who really excels when playing in a talented and confident side, he wouldn't let them down if selected.

Well if he does end up getting carried away and wants a move in the summer it will bump his value up I would say.

He's not in form, though so doesn't deserve a call up in my opinion.

After his goal today, bet he will put in afew good performances to try and earn himself a call up.
