Interestingly, just had a mate mention that he saw the man (next to the bald bloke) at the CG !

Now, this could be a number of things. I understand that he still lives in Nottingham with his Notts missus, and always has following his transfer to Norwich, and at the age of 32 (wasn't he 23 when he joined us) but was released after not making the first team. Much like his French compatriote Bonolair, not much of a star but did his business without fuss.

Would you welcome him back ?

I thought he'd suffered a career ending injury or something like that? Either way, he'd have to pass a vigorous trial. And Paul Smith is better anyway.

John Robertson
No.

We got rid at the right time. His form (and fitness) in his last season here was dreadful. He then went to Norwich and played 2 games in 2 years.

Wouldn't have him back now but during his time here he certainly was a quality player.

We could really use a player like him and Brennan on the opposite flank in our current situation.

The fact that his impact on Norwich was about nil, I would have to say no. Offer me a 28 year old Louis-Jean, he'd be the best RB in the league. But no CCC club would offer a 32 RB that hasnt player for 3 years a contract, no matter how good he was. His carrear is, unfortunatly, over.
