I know the main man Capello has mentioned his name on another thread but it's also in the Mail.

Billy Davies has made a £1.5million bid for Doncaster defender Matthew Mills.

Nottingham Forest boss Davies wants Mills to join his City Ground revolution.

Mills, 22, is one of the most highly rated defenders outside the Premier League and was a target for Birmingham in January.

Davies wants the ex-Manchester City star to build a squad capable of a promotion charge next season.

Donny is never going to sell at 1.5 , if they can knock back 1 million for Richie Wellens from leicester and is at least demanding 1.5 - 2 million for 29 year old Wellens , they sure as heck will ask for more than 1.5 for Mills.

It's rumoured that the Donny chairman has quoted Birmingham £8M for Mills and Brian Stock!

Obviously a price designed to deter bidders but gives a clue that £1.5M won't be enough!

This is another one of those players on the ever increasing list to be linked with Forest.

Until I see somebody holding up a Forest shirt with their name on the back I am not going to believe anything.

Never going to happen IMO. Just another January token gesture to appease the fans!!! pessimistic I know but this is based on facts i.e. recent historical data a la Januarys fiasco!! Rob Jones is the one, they sell for £1.2m and I'm sure be worth every penny!! All we can do is wait and see :sleep:
