I see. Should probably have noticed that. Although several other grammatical errors probably didn't help! Anyway, I think Winnits is right, there are few who genuinally know, so I suppose we'll have to wait for Capello. I'll certainly not be flicking over to certain other websites to see what their 'seers' are saying. Would be a fantastic signing though.

I've had my doubts recently with Wolves also entering the race.Depends on how serious they are though.There hasn't been a sausage in the tabloids on it so I doubt we are any closer to doing a deal than a couple of weeks though.

I honestly think our season hinges on us signing a quality centre back.

We should break the bank to get one. I don't really care who it is, but Wilson and Morgan have had a season to show us what they can do at this level and they failed. Breckin and Chambers were our outstanding centre backs last season.

Chambers and someone else will be my preferred pairing this season.

Morgan was excellent compared to Wilson, who was, at times, terrible.

Morgan looked weak compared to Breckin, though.

Breckin used his experience to fantastic effect last season, and I think we're weaker defensively without him.

Morgan was considerably better than the other 3 CB's last year.

Breckin had the odd good game, especially against the sides that like to load high balls into the box but at times he was a total liability. Chambers had 3 games at the very most at CB and Wilson was wildly inconsistent, looked great occasionally but not enough.
