• All - you probably don't need to be told, but....
Despite the Admins' best efforts some spammers/scammers/scalpers are getting through the entry system and are, astonishingly, in possession of FA Cup tickets that they, astonishingly, don't want!

It's probably a scam, and either way it's a criminal offence under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, (as amended by the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006) to offer or expose tickets for sale.

Please DO NOT engage with these people - please REPORT any threads/posts offering tickets for sale in case we've not caught them.
    Thanks!

I hope we splash more than £40M on a proven but young striker. I'd go balls deep for an Isak type. He would fit in our team and Squad ethos I think; unlike Cunha who would just be an admin case when he ain't banned.

Spending a decent chunk of £200m on Nunez, Delap or Lookman would be pretty grim. I hope (and think) that our recruitment team is smarter than that.

Okay, our budget allocation based on the rumoured targets might be something like:

Striker - £40-£60m (Nunez, Delap, Lookman, Osimhen, Mateta)
Winger - £50-70m (Cunha)
CM - £30-£50m (Luiz)
LB/RB - £20-£30m (??)

At the top end that’s 210m on 4 UCL quality players. Nuno probably will want one in, one out in terms of squad size so I don’t see us having more players than we do now.

I wouldn't say Nunez, Delap or Lookman are Champions League quality players though. I'd be horrified if we spent £40-60m on any of them.

Besides Luiz, personally I think our actual targets will be a lot different from what is currently going around the rumour mill.

How come Cunah is not playing today?

As an aside I can't help pronouncing his name Coonass which is a derogatory term used in the neck of the woods that I now live in.

Apparently seems to prefer going to United (even in their current circus era) over us, which I think sums him up as a footballer. He was top of my list for players for us to go for up until January, then he started behaving like a massive tit on the pitch and the stuff he's said about moving on from Wolves while the season is going on has soured me on him.

Think our strength is our unity and we don't really need someone that is just all about themselves, no matter how good he might be. That's a United sort of player, not a Forest one.

If Utd want him and he wants them I'm good with that. Good player but not worthy of being our marquee signing this Summer imo. More value in a player like Nunez if we can get him for 40mill, think nuno can get the best out of a player like that

Dont get me wrong, I think based on his talent, he's absolutely worth the money. I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't say he was, after wanting us to sign him all season. But, I feel like he's just the wrong type of character and I feel like for the goals he'd probably score, we're effective because we're a group together and I feel like he'd just wedge himself in there.

A huge talent. Maybe the Brazilian/Portuguese lads would calm him down a bit. Along with Nuno.

Maybe he needs a family feeling and a team that's not losing a lot to get him in his element.

Still torn, but whatever the club decides I'll go with.

I don't like Wolves' fans, at all but Cunha's gone off the deep end on social media today, I don't want this guy anywhere near our side.

After pining for him all season, I fear he's just that much of a prick that his quality we so desperately need is not enough to risk our envious and unique team spirit.

Destined to become a Man Utd player with such talent and lack of discipline.

Id take him in a heartbeat. We were never getting him though - he'll get oil money... PSG was my guess, though Newcastle are apparently in now too.

Wolves have had their best run of results all season during his recent ban, think that speaks volumes (admittedly against some pretty poor teams!)
