Percy said he was a target early in the window. Apparently we were put off by the quoted fee but then someone else (or maybe Percy again?) said we were back in for him and about to bid... Nothing since then afaik.

I still think Dominguez might leave in January and as he’s not back (fit) until probably the new year then we are still light in the middle.

I can kind of see why they'd want £50m, but also think they've effectively priced him out of a move. Shame as I'd love to see him here but can't see teams looking to go over 40.

Southampton did well when they went down last time in getting very good fees for some of their players. This time they were a bit more shambolic. Sibling is their marquee player and I wouldn’t go over £30-35M for him.

Watched a bit of Siblings highlight reel the other day and suffice to say I'm impressed - reminds me a little of Cole Palmer with his ability to see things early and trick his way around. Looks a talent.

Apparently we were gobsmacked by their valuation (Fernandes) when we first asked, which I read was around the Anderson fee... Sounds like it's gone up again!

Yeah, it's bollocks - he can absolutely be a £50m+ player but it isn't now, off a relegation season.

I guess they either get what they want or keep him... though I bet the players wishes become clearer as we get nearer the window...

Put it into context. MGW nearly went for £60M as a PL regular for the last 3 seasons and he's been one of the best performers in his role over that period whilst becoming an England international.

Southampton are putting him a similar ball park fee wise. They're having a giraffe.

He might stay and go for silly money in January if he is on form, he gets injured or his head is turned and it gets to him ...
