MARLONS NOT COMING

redinsurrey

A. Trialist
I know that last night in the hilton hotel near donington , davies met with marlon, and "others"
apparently BD was seen spitting blood soon after stating he couldn't see him and freinds being at the club past march.
I know we all hear rumours, but i can honestly say the person i heard it from is old forest like myself, he and i a struggling to believe what is happening.
2+2= we werent willing to pay marlons wages for 2 months to keep us in this division.
i hope i'm wrong.. i have always stuck by ND. where as MA appears to screw it all up..
god i hope what i heard IS NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am begining to get very angry with what happening at the club, I fear davies has the type of temperment where he coul;d very well just up and walk out.

Reload! :)

With no disrespect, Robbie, I nominate Sedgred for Chairman.

I would love to accept the position and thanks for the nomination..............but be warned with matters regarding Forest, the heart always rules the head.

So to keep me with the sensible alternate view, I would appointing Kilburn as right hand man.

Anyway looking into contracts behind the scenes, MA sacked, not because I think he does a poor job, just a sycophantic sop to the baying mob. In an attempt to court cheap and easy popularity.

Bring back Paul Hart to run the youth development from top to bottom.

Fine any player who allows a pass or clearence to go more than six inches off the ground

Mandatory three touch rule when playing the game. Essential that the ball is passed to a team mate, severe club punishments otherwise.

Get rid of Pleat........seriously fail to see what he has done.

Buy Gary Megsons and Joe Kinnears book...How to win friends and influenec people....do the opposite

Kick away fans out of the Lower Bridgford and have talks with supporters groups about where the enthusiastic youngsters should/would like to be put in the ground. ONLY if they promise to sing supportive type songs, Don't stand up to hate dirby unless we are playing the shaggers and never sing that awful dirge Forest till I die.

Mandatory behaviour for singing fans, must pass a test to be devised by old Trent Enders/Original A Block members. Only allowed in this area when witty and original

How's that for starters :)

If he does then I hope he has the guts to tell all in the papers

This was somthing I posted on yesterday afternoon and I don’t like being right on this one!

Martin O Neil IS letting him go out on loan (so he hasn’t done a U turn on that decision), By agreeing in principle to loan him to Forest it also allowed other Championship clubs to come in for him.. Looks like Wolves offered Villa the best deal.

And guess it was up to Harewood where he wanted to go...he could have chose not to sign for Wolves, if he was that keen to sign for us!!

Privately Forest are blaming the player for the U Turn!

Nail on the head!

Looks like he'll be joining Wolves permanently in the summer.  The deal falling through has nothing to do with Forest and everything to do with Villa recovering some money on the £4M they spent on Marlon and probably his wish to play in the premier league next season (and I don't blame him if that's the case no matter how much I detest Wolves).

going to Wolves....and oh, just remind me who are we playing tomorrow ?

Needless to say he'll probably pop up and sink one of the final nails in our coffin. (if the deal goes through)

This football just goes from the sublime to the ridiculous.

I'm just totally pig sick of Forest right now

I think we should get together as a fan base and organise some kind of protest at what is happening. who's with me? This isnt acceptable...maybe we should leave it til the end of the season, but in all honesty why wait??

Southampton fans did it and it worked for them.

We need to make OUR voice heard...this club continues to take our money and give naff all back.

OK, so sadly it seems Marlon isn't coming to Forest.

As the old posters say, "Keep Calm, and Carry On".

Yes he would have made a difference, and if truly the club have decided they can't/won't fund a loan move for Marlon (or he decided not to come himself - who knows!) then at the moment, there's little that any of us can do to change that.

All we can do as supporters is get down to the ground on Saturday and cheer on whoever comes out of the tunnel at five to three in a Forest shirt. We al know we should have enough quality to stay up, and the best thing all supporters can do is try and encourage whatever team we put out.

Granted if the worst happens and we do go down, that's the time for making feelings known to the club, not now, as they clearly can't, or won't, do anything about it.

I only hope we do stay up, so that Billy can put his 'plan' in to action, and be allowed to run the club "his way".

I think this is all getting blown out of all proportion. Marlon coming back would have been awesome, obviously!

But I can't see that the club is to blame. I can't see the Rumors about us not paying his wages being true.

The fact is, Wolves wanted to agree a fee, which suited Villa. And when all is said and done, if we are agreeing long term futures, you can't blame Marlon for choosing Wolves. Why would he want to commit to us, when it looks like we could be in League 1 in a couple of months?

Blame Wolves, Villa, O'Neil, Whoever, but let’s just stop criticising the club and get behind the team this sat! The addition of Turner should help out at the back. But through midfield and in attack we are a match for anyone on our day.

Lets leave the analysis to the end of the season. We still have 7 left games to survive. The only thing that will help us do this is being 100% behind the team on SAT!

Screw that, lets go mental and trash the city ground tomorrow!

Spot on, the player has chosen wolves because the loan is with the view to a permanent signing in the summer and barring a disaster being a premiership player again next season. What can we offer him a relegation fight and potential League One Football next season. Its a no brainer for the lad

well why did some fella on here say Marlon was furious about the deal (Forest deal) falling through? Surely if he's chosen Wolves he wouldn't be angry.

Someone ask that bird who knows him what his problem is?

I'm now booing:

Turner - for not being Marlon
Davies - for being a git
Arthur - for not spending 50 million to keep us up
Chambers - for being s**te

Cheering:
Moussi

everyone else is getting a "Meh"

Boo: Smith (same every game)
Chambers
Morgan (for that back pass in the playoffs)
Arron Davies
Grant Holt

Cheer: Moussi
Niall Rodney

If a loan deal was agreed 'in principle', they would have known how much his wages are as they would have had to offer to pay a percentage of said wages

Wolves must have came in last minute and offered a "future fee" on top of the loan agreement. Lets face it, Wolves are pretty much guaranteed to be going up to the premiership so Marlon would have wanted to prove himself and get back into the premiership as soon as possible

We all need to remember the logistics of the whole deal, I for one don't know where Marlon lives, but I'll assume he lives in or around the Birmingham area, and with Molineaux not being that far from Villa Park (about 30 minutes) it's not exactly a massive change to his everyday commute?
