Can't blame him really.....he would definitely be sold in the summer by Villa and wants to play at the highest level. Am sure his agent however used the week we were "negotiating" to tell other clubs he was available.

Just hope he doesn't play tomorrow!

I don't for one minute blame Marlon, and as it is Friday I am going to try not to allow myself to get wound up about who maybe to blame!!!

Forest 2 - 1 Wolves

Robert Earnshaw and Nathan Tyson who've both been on decent form since Christmas or Marlon Harewood who's out of match practice and only 1 goal to his name all season? It would have been good to see him back but it's not the end of the world. Our problems aren't in attack.

:'( Gutted! I think the lift it would have given the fans had he signed been incredible. Ah well... shows the predicament we're in I guess!

I have had reservations about the deal and pratically ignored it all week based on the theory it was complete tosh! When Segred posted yesterday it was the first time I'd realised there was something in it. Now I don't feel as let down as some of you might do, but I don't think any issue should be taken with the club on this one.

Would be nice to have Torres at the city ground.

It's not really the end of the world is it?

If it was someone of similar qualities with no past association with the club would we be so bothered.

When Clough went to Derby we all said fair enough but would you have wanted him without the past relation? Seems we've become a bit hypocritical, It would have been nice to have a striker with his presence but we've got four here already who should be good enough to keep us up. There's other loan possibilities.

Harewood has been overpriced since he has left Forest and I think Villa realised this a little bit too late and went and spent a load of cash on him.

There are better players out there who can do a similar job TBH. I amd not too fussed that he isnt coming to the CG. I would prefer Billy to bring in a quality defender.

He's also going to be living somewhere in the West Midlands as he is at Villa. Wolves is a bus ride away.

You can even take the Tram, should you so desire. It's all connected.

But frankly Wolverhampton is a shithole. The football club is the only thing going for the place. And they're not really worth much, either.

He lives near Sedgered, nearish, anyway.
