The New Zealander has not exactly dazzled the crowds so far, to put it politely. There's a good player somewhere in there, but for the time being he doesn't really know how to connect with his teammates. It doesn't help that we brought in a seasoned veteran (Sergio Oliveira), who plays on more or less the same position (and who plays even worse), or that in the last three games we have a real gem of a rising star in midfield, Christos Mouzakitis, who will turn 18 in December, has the face of a 12-year-old but plays with the maturity and confidence of a 30-year-old.

His last two appearances (20 minutes against PAOK in Thessaloniki and 70 minutes against OFI in Crete) have somehow changed the consensus that he'll be leaving in January. He played with real passion in the first of these matches, and with great passing precision in the second one. I doubt he'll be a starter, but he's certainly not bomb squad material anymore.
