Very promising interview on Radio Nottingham....

He's been "TOLD" both pratley and whittingham wants to come, I think we just have to be patient.

It was a very bold statement, not something forest normally do, so I found that very positive.

lets hope so but i cant see cardiff or swansea parting company without a fight. Pratleys rumoured to be signing a new contract
 
music to my ears, two big signings like these would make us serious promotion candidates
 
It's not like Forest to put this kind of information out so they must be pretty confident about completing the deals.

It's a very exciting prospect anyway.
 
Good point wemaybefamous -- it is certainly not consistent with how they've done things in the past few years.
 
Pratley playing today so deal can't be that advanced but good news of course.
 
If Swansea did not play Pratley it would be like accepting defeat and they ain't gonna give him up without a fight. Hopefully this will be his last outing for Swansea but that is being a little optimistic perhaps.

Unlikely, this was in the pre-match programme on the radio and they never usually stick that on the net.
 
Great some concrete news.. Just goes to show how far off the ITK boys were.. In fact I would go as far to say the most accurate source for the Whitttingham saga was the Cardiff fan...
 
Source in Cardiff, not very high up but would have interaction with the players, says Chopra, Bothroyd and McCormack may be on the way. When asked about Whittingham he said he'd be staying put. That's all I know.

Not claiming to be In The Know, this guy wouldn't be in on the super confidential plans but I can promise you what I've written is legit as I heard it. Take from it what you may.
 
I think we all have to realise that the on people ITK are those close to the deal.

But when a player rejects a new deal and clearly states they wish to move to us its very hard for a club to prevent that happening with only a year left on there contract.

Forest know this very well.

I think what Arthur said and David Pleat earlier in the day suggest they know alot more than they actually said.
 
Is this the only thing he really said then worthwhile. Hopefully will have more about it by monday.

Cough, cough! Re Pratley i posted that the player wants to come, in fact he has already agreed terms in principle via his agent and the only stalling point is Forest's bid not quite there financially because Pratley is owed money if he doesn't ask for a transfer, and neither Swansea, Forest or Pratley want to budge.
Mark Arthur, if you read between the lines has said this. He know's Pratley wants to come(How would he know? Because we have already agreed terms!)
 
Forest must be very confident on signing both Pratley and Whittingham with a statement like that lets hope it happens!! And he also mentioned they are looking at a few premier league players for loan deals who are they/

Cardiff fans are livid and can understand why but they think the F.A should look into these comments, a bit O.T.T
 
i imagine he knows how they want to join nottingham forest is through the players agents and repersentatives(spelling)

Have you seen what Barcelona have been doing to Fabregas this summer? This is nothing in comparison but because they're a world class side their behaviour seems to slip under the radar.
