Seems to be being touted around for a move, and would surely leave Plymouth for us. Good strong, experienced championship defender. Loan until january then perm?

I would rather get his partner , the hungerian international defender Krisztián Timár - he fits in with what we are looking for - a bit of height and experience.

Are you havin a stephy graff? Timar is a big slow cumbersome donkey! My mates a plymouth fan and thats the general opinion of him! Seip on the other hand is quality and easily their best centre back.

Would be a good signing

I don't know much about the lad but I am not sure that Plymouth are going to offer us much that we do not already have.

Its all about bringing in better players not just numbers, not convinced about this one.

Been told by a friend in the north east that he has agreed to go on loan with Newcastle til Jan starting at the end of this month with a view to a permanent. Reckons Harewood is on his way to them too but doesn't know details.

Would be a good signing, reads game well, mobile and played top flight football in holland and europe for a few seasons.

Seip has started poorly this season , so has timar for that matter. We need someone tall and strong in the air, Seip is someone who plays alongside a tall strong defender , not what we are looking for.

From what I'm told Seip is playing in a very poor Argyle team who look all out of sorts. Seip is a very solid defender who can also pass the ball to his own team. Would be a great signing, but we're not even linked with him are we? If Wes isn't big and strong then who is?

From Teamtalk today:

Seip transfer-listed by Pilgrims

Plymouth Argyle have placed Dutch defender Marcel Seip on the transfer list following "a breach of discipline" and now hope to loan him out.

The 27-year-old arrived at Home Park in 2006 after being released by Heerenveen and has started all six league and cup matches this season.

However, he is understood to have had a dressing-room bust-up with Argyle boss Paul Sturrock following the 3-1 home defeat by Sheffield Wednesday on August 29.

Seip has been punished by Sturrock before, following his refusal to be a substitute in the clash against Charlton in April 2008. He later apologised to his manager and team-mates, but there appears to be no way back for him this time round.

With the transfer window closed until January, Sturrock is planning on shipping Seip out on loan.

Sturrock told the club's official website: "We feel it's an appropriate time for Marcel to move on.

"He's been fined two weeks wages for his indiscretion and placed on the transfer list.

"We know he can't transfer anywhere at this time but we would like to think the first step would be going out on loan."

Seip was linked with Newcastle last weekend, although Magpies caretaker boss Chris Hughton later denied any interest in the player.
