Manager of the Month

Billy must be a shoe-in for December Manager of the Month.

Having played 6, won 4 and drawn 2 I believe that we are the only side unbeaten in December in the CCC.

Let's hope the curse is limited to the FA Cup.

Aren't Newcastle unbeaten this month?

I'm sure Newcastle are unbeaten in 11 so they must be.

Yes they are unbeaten sorry, but they have made three draws in December so their record is still not as good as Billy's

Billy deserves it this month with some of the brilliant results he has got us.

Highlights include...

Win away to Swansea (think it't there only home defeat in 10 games)
A 3-0 tonking of an above average Championship side
A battling point and Bramall Lane
And of course a 5-1 victory over our closest rivals at the time Leicester

FULL RECORD
Played 6
Won-4
Drawn-2
Lost-0
Scored-11
Conceded-1 (pen)

I'd be very surprised if he didn't get it this month.

We've had some tough games as well. Whilst Leicester turned out to be an absolute stroll in the park on paper (4th against 3rd) it looked set to be one of our sternest tests. To win away at Swansea was also fantastic, especially considering that they were 4th at the time.

Although I would be delighted for BD on a personal level and the teams ability to earn it him, I have always seen the manager of the month as a poison chalice.

Silly really because it's a catch 22, as you want your team to win every game which earns the manager the chance of earning the award.

It will be the third month on the trot for Billy to be up for this title and so far Newcastle have won it 3 times this season and its not had a negative effect, also if Billy wins he will be the the manager with the most wins of this title.

Its about time he got it, King Billy for MOTM!

There is no 'curse' - it's a myth.

Billy should get it for our results and performances this month.

I can't stand the Manager of the Month award, not because I see it as a curse or anything I just think it is pointless.

One good month in a season doesn't mean you will get promoted/in the play offs or stave off relegation, a Manager should be rewarded on his achievements over a season not just a month.

As long as Billy and the coaches are working hard, the players are giving it 100 percent, who cares what pundits/ex players and alike think. If we are winning games then I'm a happy chappy and hopefully come the end of the season we are where we all want to be!!!

Seasons Greetings

he's nailed on for it. If he doesn't get it, there is defin something going off with Newcastle being the Championships love ins for all the pundits...

we have won our games very well, destroying teams working hard. Away we have been tough and hard to break down and picked up points. not including the clean sheets, the loads of goals we have scored and racing up the league.
