Can't copy and paste in IE I'm afraid but it's a decent read!

Favourite bit:

Would you regard that super strike against Derby as one of the best goals of your career?
Yes, that's the best goal of my career so far.

And my least favourite bit:

Do you want to make you want to make your move permanent?

There are many games to be played. I'm not thinking about the future.

I wanted him to say 'Yes.'

The Big Interview - Majewski
Mon 14 Dec 2009

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself, for instance when you started playing football and what you have achieved in the game so far?
I have been playing football since I was six years old. I started my career with my home town club Pruszkow before moving Dyskobolia Grodzisk in 2007.
A year later Dyskobolia Grodzisk merged with Polonia Warsaw, so I moved to the Polish capital to play my football. After a season as a Polonia player I was given the chance to join Forest on loan.
A particular highlight of my career so far was being voted 'Revelation of the Year' in the Polish F.A.'s annual awards two years ago.
I have won six caps for the Polish national side and was over the moon to be recalled to the squad for recent friendlies against Romania and Canada.
Joining Nottingham Forest is, I believe, a way of taking my career forward and I regard it as a great honour to be here.

How are you settling down to life in England?
I am enjoying living in England. I welcome new experiences associated with football and coming to Nottingham has offered me a new way of life.

What were your first impressions of Nottingham and do you like the city?
The first surprise for me was when I wanted to do some shopping and I found out that the shops shut at 5pm. In Poland they are open until 9pm.
I have noticed that Nottingham is a multi-cultural city and I think the city centre is very lively.

Was playing in English football always one of your ambitions?
Yes, I've always wanted to play in one of the top leagues in Europe so when a decision was taken to come here, I hoped that Nottingham Forest would be promoted to the Premier League.

What did you know of Nottingham Forest before you joined the club?
I knew that Forest are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and was aware of their success in the European Cup under Brian Clough.
I know now that the club are trying to get promoted back to the Premier League ... and believe that is the rightful place for Nottingham Forest, because it is still one of the biggest clubs in England. I would love it to happen.

What about football in this country - how does it differ from Polish football?
It's different because Championship football in England is very physical with long balls and tighter and faster play.

What have you made of what you have seen of the Championship so far? Is the standard of football what you expected?
I haven't been surprised by Championship football - it's exactly what I imagined it to be.

You have scored three goals for the club so far but by far the most memorable was your goal just seconds into our game against Derby at The City Ground. How special was it to get on the scoresheet in such emphatic and quick-fire fashion?
That was a wonderful goal for me.
Scoring such a goal made me feel stronger and I hope that I will score like that again.
I was really pleased with my goal against Peterborough in October as well because, like against Derby, it helped us to win the game.

Would you regard that super strike against Derby as one of the best goals of your career so far?
Yes, that's the best goal of my career so far.

You are currently on a season-long loan at The City Ground with a view to a permanent switch. Would you like that arrangement to be made permanent?
I'm on loan with Forest for the rest of the season and there are still many, many games to be played. That's all I'm concentrating on - I'm not really thinking about the future at the moment but I'm very happy in Nottingham.

Has the language barrier been a problem in the dressing room or during games?
It was a problem when I first arrived at The City Ground back in the summer but it's not a problem now. I can understand more and more of what is being said in the dressing room.

How do you feel you have been accepted by the other players in the dressing room?
Good - I've had no problems. Away from training I meet up with the other players and spend time with them, playing on the Play Station and things like that.

You are learning English, how is it going?
I am improving. I have two or three lessons a week and each time I learn new sentences and new words. I'm lucky because I have a great teacher.

There is a big Polish community in Nottinghamshire - have you received messages of support from your fellow countrymen or had the chance to meet up with any of them?
Yes I do receive letters from the Polish community. Two weeks ago I was invited to attend a Polish Festival in Nottingham so went along and I really enjoyed it.

Finally, how much are you looking forward to your first Christmas in Nottingham? Are members of your family coming over from Poland to spend it with you?
I don't really know what is happening yet, whether anyone is coming over from Poland. We do not have too much time off because we play Watford on Boxing Day but I'm sure it will still be enjoyable.

I agree but he's still under contract with another club. If he gave anyother answer it would be unproffesional

I liked the bit where he was asked about Nottingham. He says; Ive noticed it is a multi-cultural city.

That's a good read.

I liked the bit where he says he hangs out with other players to play PlayStation.

He also says Forest is one of the biggest clubs in Europe. What a lad!

Made me laugh about the bit re that shops in town shut at 5 not 9 like in his native Poland.

The club shop is open until 8pm now because Raddy was upset and had a go at Billy because he wanted a Forest mug so Billy had a word with the shop manager to open late to make Raddy feel more at home.

That annoys the crap out of me when I am in England. I always get the impression they don't want my business!

Clearly what the guy is saying is that he likes it here and the place is fine but his ambitions lie in the prem and it will be great if he can can get there with Forest but if not well......................so long and thanks for all the fish!
