Certainly seems very pleased to be here. If he is as keen to stay as he sounds I'd expect he will be pushing hard for a permanent move. It sounds like the Polish fans really push a player who has gone into the limelight. Much like our premiership but with the distancing and relative privacy a bonus for the players here. Hope he does well, as many say he could be the bargain of the summer !
RADOSLAW Majewski hopes to focus on proving his ability at Nottingham Forest, after escaping the media spotlight in his native Poland.
As a highly-rated member of the international side back home, the midfielder found himself under intense scrutiny.
But he says he has been given a warm welcome by Forest fans – and hopes to flourish once he has settled into the English game.
"In England, players have a calm life," he said. "No fans have to apply extra pressure to the players, but the players do have to repay (by producing) a good game on the pitch.
"The atmosphere is excellent. Here football among the people is pure madness. Fans are with their team for both the good and the bad times. That is why it is a real joy to play here.
"You do not have to stress here.
"I am in total peace of mind, no one is interested in my personal life, nor do they look at my business and keep track of my every move.
"Before everything else, people in Nottingham look at how you play and what you can bring to the team."
Majewski is not yet fluent at speaking English, but he does understand the language when spoken to.
So he believes communication will not be an issue as his lessons in English continue.
"I am quite sociable, so the problem of communication within the team is not a problem," he said.
"I am fascinated by England. Everything here looks great."
Majewski has played in both Forest's last two pre-season friendlies and is likely to be involved again tonight, as Billy Davies' side entertain Premiership Stoke City at the City Ground.
The manager believes the player, who is on a season-long loan from Polonia Warsaw, can have a big impact in England – once he has settled in.
"It may take him a few weeks to get used to the English game," he said. "But he has ability."
