Majewski Signs 1 Year Loan Deal.

Radoslaw Majewski has landed on a one-year-loan to English Championship side Nottingham Forest.

The Polonia Warszawa player had a lackluster season and Polonia officials are determined to keep the midfielder out of Poland away from his bad habits.
Nottingham Forest has given Polonia 150 thousand euro for Majewski's season loan, with a view to a permanent transfer.

Majewski's transaction to England should not come by any surprise, as a year ago Blackburn Rovers announced a 3 million euros bid for the player. Polonia rejected the bid with pride. However, now Polonia has struggled to find any new suitors for it's current troubled midfielder.

The Pole is reportedly only leaving to England for a 'change of scene'. If Majewski impresses Nottingham officials he could very much transfer with Polonia eager to cash in this time.

"Radoslaw will try his chance in England. He always said that it was a league he would enjoy to play in. Here is his chance." said a Polonia spokesperson.

Majewski has been capped 5 times for Poland and if his former form returns he could easily be brought back for the remaining FIFA World Cup 2010 qualifiers.

Hmmm indeed. Doesn't sound like the sort of player Billy would be interested in?

Maybe they've got us confused with our filthy rich neighbours across the Trent?

He's probably not been on form this year because his club rejected a good bid from Blackburn. I bet he was a bit annoyed to say the least that he missed a chance at the Premier League.

If we give him a chance in England hopefully it will reignite his ambition. We shouldn't forget he is on the fringe of the Poland team and this is a world cup year. I bet he will do very well, if he does then we've got a Premiership quality player cheaply.

Capello's on holiday so he can't put his seal of approval on it til he comes back.

Think he might be back next week. (He said he was going on holiday for 2 weeks, I'm not stalking him!)
