Main Stand to be demolished.

My mate sits in the Main Stand near the directors box, and he has recieved a letter from Forest saying that if we dont win the bid for the world cup which we should know by the end of this year, then his seat will not be available for next season as they will be building a 2 tier stand ajoining the Bridgford stand, anyone else had this letter or is he pulling my pisser?

So its true then?
I would admit, i'd prefer us to do up the main stand and take the ground over 40,000 seats,
more for the sentimental reasons of it being our history at the CG.
No, i was just adding to the mystery - I haven't really recieved a letter :p

don't hate

Sounds like a wind up to me.

The club have repeatedly said that it is unfeasable to develop on the current City Ground site, and that to move the club forward we will have to move to a new ground, even though I agree, I'd much rather us stay on the same site!

Whichever site is picked for a proposed new ground (Clifton, Gamston or the current favoured "Eastside" location), we'll find out on December 3rd, which is apparently when the decision of FIFA regarding the World Cup venue of 2018 is announced.

Why would they waste paper and time sending out a letter informing the recipient about something that may or may not happen?

Next time you see your mate, go upside his head. Seriously.

Think Rushcliffe planning office may hold the answer...................like lack of plans being submitted ?

Oh god its the club shop all over again

I've had a letter today saying that if McKenna doesnt improve the club are planning to replace him with a clockwork mouse and could I contribute.

I had a letter today, yes - Sunday, saying they were knocking the main stand down to contstruct a billboard featuring a squirrel with sunglasses on.

I say we cut the crap and just go with the clockwork mouse.

Yeah but why so much notice if you're not sure? It's like the council posting a letter through your door and saying "in a few weeks we will assess your gas piping on your street, if they turn out to be faulty, expect us to dig up your road next summer, otherwise, as you were". It's not really something they'll send out a letter for.

I'm sure they'd go to the nep to state their stance about the plans, not tell all the customers directly.

Mind you, Forests marketing department has done crazier things.

Do forest even have a marketing department? I just thought they just paid a PR man to come in around season ticket renewal time and then made him redundant once we'd all fallen for it again.
