For me it's gotta be Lynch, much younger, bigger potential and more versatile. Barker would have been a waste of money for the amount Derby paid for him.

I do agree with this.

But can Barker play Left Back??

We needed a left back much more than we needed centre-backs... which is why I'm glad we spent £200k on Lynch and not £900k on Barker.

However, this argument could be totally undone if someone tells me Barker can play LB ...

Silly comparison anyway, whilst Lynch can play centreback I think he was bought as a left back.

Yep, I honeslty don't see what all this fuss about Barker is. Looking at Blackpool forums even they don't rate him that highly and at his age he'll be hitting his peak now, Lynch is five years younger and is about the same standard and can play at left back for us too which we are short on. He has also spent time here so knows the place and won't need time to settle in.

I would like to point out I was saying the same things before he went to Derby and I'm not just being bitter, I also said I didn't rate Jones too or Fox for the money being quoted. So far things have been going my way really.
