24 year old Brazilian wide right midfielder/winger currently at Inter.

Apparently could be part of a double deal with Frattesi for a combined €50M.

One of those players that despite being at a big club, I know very little about. Some input from our Italian and Inter following contingent would be helpful if possible please.

Yeah he definitely plays off both sides. I'm irritated because I followed French football and I've not seen a lot of him. All I remember is that he was very technical and strong but not the quickest.

I had seen him play more for Marseille than i have Inter, when i watched him he was playing left wing back i think as it was 2 seasons ago, He used to have a fare bit of pace on him as well, looked good when i watched him, His numbers last season are not good though 43 matches played 2 goals and 1 assist

I stand to be corrected on the pace thing. It's been a fair while ago since I've seen him. Maybe it just didn't stand out at the time but that could've been because the opposition sat in a low block.

Just had a look at his stats off the back of what you said because I agree that 84 doesn't look good on those. There is some mitigation though in that in the last 30 games this season he's only played 47% in the starting XI and only played 47% of all possible minutes.

Yeah i saw he hadn’t started much, But if you look back at his career his numbers don’t stand out not much of a goal scorer or many assists either, Inter paid around 20m euros for him last summer, Just had another look into him it looks like he has been playing wing back for Inter as well so could be a good option with Savona looking like he is off

Seems like Bournemouth were close to getting him in January and still might be interested. Loan with obligation also possible.

The wing back aspect is interesting then. It certainly adds some versatility and covers off a bit of an issue.

Because Aina and Williams are absolute shoe ins it's going to be difficult to get out and out full backs/ wing backs who are happy to sit on the bench.

The other thing I've been thinking for quite a while and I'm sure I've mentioned it on here is that we might be switching to a back 3. Given our current CB situation and seemingly looking to add another it does lean towards that.

If this lad is better than Ndoye and has the versatility to cover other positions adequately then he could be a decent purchase.

Yeah we could switch to a 3 at the back but without anything concrete at the moment and just rumours we wont know until we start seeing incomings, I would try and shift Ndoye on in the summer anyway if we get a offer of our money back of course, Id love to see Swedish Tony come back and replace him but its probably not going to happen

Definitely mostly been used at wing back at inter although you don't see him defend that much, very attack minded, and usually comes on to give Dumfries or Augusto a rest so very rarely seen him start. He's a good player but not at a level where I think he would make us substantially better. I think Inter would be pissing themselves if we gave them 50m for him and frattesi

Never heard of him or seen him play. You'd assume with the figures involved that he's decent but we've seen recently that the numbers hold zero relevance to how successful the signing will be.

Obviously for more value we're shopping outside of the Premier League but it comes with risks about settling or not being suited to the league. Hopefully he's more Milenkovic and less Ndoye.

He's definitely not a wing back, part of the reason why he's failed at Inter is because they've been using him out of position as a RWB

No end product and loves a backwards pass

Isn’t keen on the B part
Doesn’t have end product
Likes a pass backwards (presumably to a team mate who is happy with doing the B part).
Sounds ideal.
