Lucas Bergvall

Don't sign blonde players.

Full list of main secrets of the transfer market:

A new manager wastes money on transfers; don’t let it.
Use the wisdom of the crowds.
Stars of recent World Cups or European championships are overvalued, ignore them.
Both superstars and weakest links are overvalued: your top three players matter most.
Older players are overvalued.
Certain nations are overvalued.
Center forward are overvalued; goalkeepers are undervalued.
Gentlemen prefer blonds: identify and abandon “sight-based prejudice”.
The best time to buy a player is when he is in his early twenties.
Sell any player when another club offers more than he is worth.
Replace your best players even before you sell them.
Buy players with personal problems, and then help them deal with their problems.
Help your players relocate.

"We didn't start the fire!"

Hutchinson, McAtee, Kalimuendo, Dan Ndoye.

Omar Richards, Diakhaby, Guetan Bong, Harry Arter.

Lorenso Lucca, Gio Reyna, Divok Origi, Jesse Linguard.

Nuno Santo, Postacoglue, Sean Dyche, Vitor Pereira.

We didn't start the fire...

He had a stinker of a first half and then in the 2nd half (Watching on a phone) I kept wondering why they'd moved him to centre back and how had he got even slower until I realised that it was actually Van Hecke.

This was a signing I was excited about the potential of but I'd be disappointed if we drop anything more than £20m on him, that Sangare though........

Sounds like a football version of Sunscreen by Baz Luhrman

Depending on Spurs' demands, I can see this one being revived - that's if it was ever completely ditched in the first place?
He still has those attributes many of us were enthusiastic about when we were initially linked.
Could be, but the silly spuds would have to revise the asking price. Might be an initial loan deal option with a decent fee attached if things go well. He needs to play, otherwise his value will drop and Spurs keep signing midfielders and number 10s.

Didn't De Zerbi come out and say Bergvall is going nowhere, and is a part of Spurs future plans?

Take whatever comes out of De Zerbis mouth and throw it in the bin, he's already dropping hints about "whether its me or another manager" - he will not be hanging around and the God complex he had within the Spurs fanbase is starting to wane already
I don' really follow other teams' news that closely because... it don't matter to me as a rule, so I hadn't picked up on De Zerbi being God, and De Zerbi being the first PL out the door this season, but given our reported interest in Bergvall I did see the De Zerbi interview.
When the new players purchased by Spurs click I think they will give some one a real pasting. I just hope they don't click this coming weekend!

At least they'll be coming to attack and not sit in, thats the kind we enjoy

Yeah well I think when our players click we'll give someone a real pasting and I think that will be Spurs (or Spuds as some people call them for whatever very strange reason) next week

Bergvall has well and truly been strung along by De Zerbi, Oh you'll get lots of minutes this season, don't leave.
Not come off the bench in the last two.

He'll be nice and fresh for the second half of the season.
