I, on the other hand, was pleasantly surprised to hear it pronounced properly. And we even have adverts now where a presumably Swedish voice pronounces IKEA correctly too. Och det är jag glad över.

I had a swedish girlfriend for a time and used to fly over to "visit" - she lived in Gothenburg which I discovered was pronounced YOTTA-BORG-AY... it was the only swedish I ever attempted during our short and tempestuous time together
