Obviously I have a story related to any number of random people, places etc but when I moved to Manchester to Uni I lived in Moss Side for a short while and there was a lovely old lady lived next door who invited us in for a cuppa - imagine our surprise to see her wall lined with gold discs and press cuttings etc
Turned out her son was Red Stripe, the bald one from the Flying Pickets anyway here's a good one from them with the added bonus of it being on Kenny Everett's show

Now I think I've heard it said in the past that Radar Love is the, or one of, the best driving songs ever recorded (thimk Top Gear did a poll) ... this is wrong, no equivocation, its just plain wrong.
Ladies and gents - kindly climb in to or on top of whatever your favourite driving machine is and crank this mother up to 11 (a classic BMW 5 series M5 - E39) would be my recommendation, though my Mark 2 MR2 was a dream

its a good song but I always preferred Spirit Walker TBH

I think the only live version of that on youtube is off the Tube when they had just dropped "Death" from their name in 84. Old Ian didn't know the words and had some interesting makeup on. Still the kids of the coca cola nation are too doped up to realise...
