I went to Electric Avenue to take a couple of pics before the QPR game, then took some of me and the kids in front of the Bowie mural around the corner.
Was going through some old albums I haven't played in a while and came across Blancmange's Happy Families... wow forgotten how good they were. Here's a 12 inch remix of one of their best in HQ audio... go on.... let the wave wash over you.... ..
Why ?
Oh yeah. The one in the black skirt and the one next to her with the thick black belt.
Saw Black Lace when they had a season residency in Blackpool Tower's Hornpipe Galley in 1990. They were pretty good tbf. Did both versions of 'Agadoo'/'have a screw' and 'Gang Bang'.
Oh dear God, I'm so ashamed of this decade.

No miming, no autotune, just pre, unadulterated Black Lace TALENT :hulk:
Almost as good as this classic.........
They might have been miming though
If we have to go down this road
Those opening shots are brilliant
I've never known a guitarist make something so simple look so complicated
Haven't heard that before. Reminds me of Magnum, or something that would have been featured in the breakers on Casey Kasem's America's Top Ten.
