A well written piece that had me nodding my head in agreement at parts I agreed with and frowning whilst reading in almost equal meaures where I felt at odds with your opinion, certainly thought provoking and welcome to the forum :)

I’d even take another couple of years in the Third Division if it meant something, if it somehow felt like it used to, if it defibrillated back some of the interest and the enthusiasm. Because for all the disasters sprinkled across this past decade, the most prominent scar, the thing that best defines them, is that I just stopped caring. And that hurts more than any relegation.

What a lot of bollocks. Where were you on May 3rd last year and why are you giving up now?

If you stopped caring then go and watch the cricket.

The City Ground is full of fans that still care and also believe that we will still be in the Championship next season.

Moussi? Wes? Earnie? No heroes at the City Ground?

Two words and the second rhymes with Prof.

Ironically, you have just helped prove the point!
Moussi a hero? :D not knocking him before anyone starts that one, he's obvoiusly been injured - just don't think anyone can be classed as a 'Forest hero' after just 12 appearances and 0 goals. Maybe his 'hero' status has more to do with a lyrically convenient name?

Earnie? If he stays fit and scores 1 in 2 for the next 2 seasons then yes, maybe then.

Wes, I'd agree with.
